I am a new patient at the Knee Center and just received my second injection on my left knee and cannot believe the improvement. I feel that I had a substantial amount of relief and the pain has gone away. I also had a cortisone injection and am also experiencing no pain on that knee. Before I came here it was very painful just to get out of the bed. The pain lessened after 2-3 minutes. As a hiker, I suffered greatly especially when I had to hike down a steep terrain. My ambition to do better propelled me to visit Knee Centers for Supartz injections as well as PT. With the combination of the two, I now forget how bad it was before. Years of aggressive sport activities had virtually erased the meniscus in both of my knees. By age fifty, the orthopedic surgeons had recommended total replacement of both knees. I wanted to write you to tell you just how happy I am to have found you! I remember the first time I came to your clinic, I was using a walker to help myself get around, and even with that I had trouble walking. I was waiting to have my knee replacement surgery approved and suffering agonizing pain most of the time. I have received excellent treatment at Knee Centers, Newport Beach and my life has changed from limited mobility to a free movement. For more than 10 years, I was suffering deep pain and inflammation and very little mobility. I was not walking well and had difficulty standing for a few minutes. My first visit to the Knee Center, I had to use a wheelchair. I could not put any weight on my leg. After a couple of treatments, I went from a wheelchair to a walker.
